@Arlishan: Glad you like "Grey Waters". :) Sadly they splitted-up this year..

sooo it's time for another great band I'd like to introduce ;D
The Band is called "Ef", post rock from Sweden and for these guys I won't go to Lacrimosa on 5th October in Rostock (anyway I'll see our favourite band in Leipzig and Hamburg), 'cause on 5th October they'll play in Berlin. I'm pretty excited ^_^

two examples from their last album

EF - Son Of Ghost

I love "Ef" they are amazing. There's another Swedish band called "Jeniferever" who have a similar style. They're worth checking out too.

But now... hands down to one of the best albums ever made!  ;D

Haha, really? I love Sigur since a long time ago! I saw them in Tepoztlan! It was awesome, short but magic! <3

^ I like that band a lot! I'm enjoying this neo folk movement that incorporates rock.

A really nice band with beautiful neofolk music.

The Moon And The Nightspirit - The Secret Path

They have some ethereal sounds and it's nice to listen to while working or studying.

Oh, every day I listen to an incredible number of different music, different from Lacrimosa. Basically it is certainly different rock and metal stuff. I want to share with you the band which I discovered this year. The Finnish band Sentenced.
Although the band does not exist for almost 7 years, their legacy still lives, and the popularity of the profile audience is still not falling. Before split-up in 2005, they released 8 studio albums, 1 live-album & DVD and some singles. Began with the dark death metal in the early '90s, the band's style transforms into melodic and hit gothic metal with beautiful melodies and dramatic vocals. And of course I should mention downright heartbreaking lyrics. Mostly it concerns doom, depressive, tragic themes. When I feel mentally bad and miserable, music of this band always supports me.

Classic line-up: from left to right - Sami Kukkohovi (bass), Ville Laihiala (vocals), Miika Tenkula (lead guitar), Sami Lopakka (rhythm guitar), Vesa Ranta (drums).

Some classic band songs:

"Cross My Heart & Hope Yo Die"
Sentenced - Cross My Heart and Hope to Die

"Killing Me, Killing You"
Sentenced - Killing Me Killing You (full version, lyrics in description)

"Dead Moon Rising"
Sentenced- Dead Moon Rising

"Farewell"
Sentenced - Farewell

"You Are The One"
Sentenced - You Are The One

And a couple of videos:

"Ever-frost" music video
SENTENCED - Ever-Frost (OFFICIAL VIDEO)

"Nevetlasting", from the last farewell show in Finland
Sentenced - Neverlasting (Buried alive)DVD (Embedding disabled, limit reached)

Oh I love Sentenced. It's a shame not so many people heard of their music. I was introduced to them by my best friend in high school so it would be 6 years now that I know these guys :) Thanks for sharing, you made me in a mood to listen to something else besides Revolution today :D

Today i watched a documentary movie on Animal Planet, called "Daniel and our cats", you might have seen it and it's a very sad one, just fell in love with the soundtrack! Want to share it with you, it took some time to find it on the internet, it's so beautiful along with some other things this composer Simon Lambros created http://www.audionetwork.com/production-music/kiss-me-deadly_10250.aspx
