Compared with Leipzig-WGT in May, I found that I more prefer the trip to Bolków's Castle Party in Poland.

One reason is that, it's located in a small town, it is very easy to find the Places of performances. Unlike in Leipzig, if you want to watch different performances in different locations, you must be exhausted to ran, or had to give up some performances.

Another reason is that, its main performance-place is in the castle. Although Bolków's castle can't be compared with Heidelberg's castle, but the remains of the castle's walls with weeds in the gaps are beautiful in the background of the pastoral scene, and the music echoed throughout the whole castle is captivating, all this let me remember those beautiful summer nights by Heidelberg's castle music festivals.

And this time I fand some groups, who left me deep impressions, I will write them later if I can find the way to express my feelings in English.

The last reason is, I got to know that the Bolków Castle Party has 20-years history (1994/2013 ) and I want to come again next year because I like the Castle Party, and Poland and the Polish people leave me a very good impression.

I like a poem of Polish poet Wislawa Szymborska, Possibilities, the impression Polish people gave me are like that the poem gave me, warm, calm and kind. Emotion and poetry, they are embedded in everyday life in Poland.

Possibilities
(By Wislawa Szymborska, Translated by S. Baranczak & C. Cavanagh, Copyright © Wislawa Szymborska, S. Baranczak & C. Cavanagh)

I prefer movies.
I prefer cats.
I prefer the oaks along the Warta.
I prefer Dickens to Dostoyevsky.
I prefer myself liking people
to myself loving mankind.
I prefer keeping a needle and thread on hand, just in case.
I prefer the color green.
I prefer not to maintain
that reason is to blame for everything.
I prefer exceptions.
I prefer to leave early.
I prefer talking to doctors about something else.
I prefer the old fine-lined illustrations.
I prefer the absurdity of writing poems
to the absurdity of not writing poems.
I prefer, where love's concerned, nonspecific anniversaries
that can be celebrated every day.
I prefer moralists
who promise me nothing.
I prefer cunning kindness to the over-trustful kind.
I prefer the earth in civvies.
I prefer conquered to conquering countries.
I prefer having some reservations.
I prefer the hell of chaos to the hell of order.
I prefer Grimms' fairy tales to the newspapers' front pages.
I prefer leaves without flowers to flowers without leaves.
I prefer dogs with uncropped tails.
I prefer light eyes, since mine are dark.
I prefer desk drawers.
I prefer many things that I haven't mentioned here
to many things I've also left unsaid.
I prefer zeroes on the loose
to those lined up behind a cipher.
I prefer the time of insects to the time of stars.
I prefer to knock on wood.
I prefer not to ask how much longer and when.
I prefer keeping in mind even the possibility
that existence has its own reason for being.

Just like Sartre, the first group, which is attracted to me,  is 7JK.

After the live of "Soror Dolorosa" come some staffs of next Band to the stage to check the sound. Sartre and I are waiting below the stage in the first row of the audience. I don't pay attation to the stage, holding the camera and looking for something or somebody beautiful to shoot.

Suddenly Sartre say to me: "Ah, the staff sings very well."
I listen carefully, yes, he sings well! Is he one of the members of the band?
But when I see him, I don't think so.
He is a middle-aged man in baggy T-shirt. I think he can't be the member of the Band.

Then, unexpectedly, he take out a violin and try it. He just plays a few notes, I immediately know: he must be one of the band members, he plays excellent violin.
Now I have great interesting about the man and the band, start to concentrate on waiting for their performance.

I find the band in internet later, this is 7JK, a mixed band of UK's Sieben and Polish band Job Karma. He is Matt Howden, the voice and violin of the band.

I remember Anne once said, "There's nothing more boring and disgusting than band playing on stage in everyday clothes."
Oh, dear Anne, you have to understand the people who can't sew  :P
Music, talent and concentration on work he loved, all these can make an ordinary-looking person more attractive and shine in the stage.
I like Matt Howden's warm voice and excellent violin playing, and just the ordinary looking and dressing make him looks lovely  ;)

After 7JK is "XIII.Století" from the Czech Republic.

I like the girl when I see her on the stage before the beginning of the show.

During the Performance, I get to like the band's voice.

He and the Keyboard look like father and daughter  :)

Obviously the band is very popular in Poland, when they sing, lots of audience sing together. Quite a few songs have beautiful melodies, but unfortunately I do not know what's their name.
Does anyone here know what's the famous songs of the band?

followed is "KAT & ROMAN KOSTRZEWSKI".
It should be the Polish local band? They seem to have more Fans in Poland, the scene is crazy, the policeman are very nervous.
But it's not my type, so I listen to it calmly.

Lacrimosa.
And finally comes Lacrimosa.

I don’t know how to express my feeling about Lacrimosa. A Chinese philosopher Lao-Tzu once said: “The great sound is hard to hear. The great form has no shape.” So I think, the deepest love is hard to express in language.
Other bands, regardless of how good or bad their performances are, I may like them or not, but they are nothing to do with me, and they can’t pluck the strings deep in my heart.
Only Lacrimosa, their music makes my heart feel pain, let me know, these musics must be closely linked to my soul. I can’t describe the feeling, but I know, Lacrimosa's Music must have something to do with my soul, with my life.

So nice to see Tilo again.

What's the friends here, in official forum, prepared for us: mask, clown hat, and something can light (I do not know what's it called?)

I think the most of these are dear Anastasia's idea  :)

After the show we are waiting for Lacrimosa:

Tilo's Offer, in the restroom of Lacrimosa:

Finally, we line up and say goodbye to Lacrimosa  :'(

p.s. I hope all of you can see the pictures now.

I have never seen such a sculpture. I think, dear God finally bear the father's responsibility :)

Can you see the castle? It's in the middle of the trees:

This photo can more clearly see the castle, it's between the two trees:

I'm glad to see Tilo's photo in a small kiosk and shoot a picture:

Thank you so much for the pictures, it is so great to see them, especially when I can see friends on some of them! ;)
Are you one of the two Chinese girls that invited us to their place to stay after the concert? If yes, thank you so much, it was so kind, because of difficulties with the transport in Bolkow... :)
Oh, so many great memories. And I really enjoy the pics of all the interesting people from the fest! :D
